- 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend and platform engineering roles
- 5+ years of experience designing and building large-scale backend systems using Java
- 2+ years of experience working with Python (Advantage)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and modern cloud-native architectures in production environments
- Strong experience designing and architecting scalable, reliable, and maintainable production systems
- Solid experience working with relational databases and SQL
- Proven experience improving engineering processes, development workflows, and technical standards, with strong understanding of software engineering best practices, clean design, and functional and non-functional requirements
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, influence without authority, and drive alignment across teams through strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, supportive, and ownership-driven mindset
- Practical experience with AI development tools such as Cursor or similar tools, with curiosity and passion for applying them in day-to-day engineering work
- Experience with CI/CD, observability, reliability, and production operations (advantage)
- Experience working in environments with a strong focus on security and compliance (advantage)
- Experience supporting or driving SaaS transformation (advantage)
