- 6+ years of backend or full-stack engineering, owning cloud-native production systems at scale (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD).
- Hands-on with LLMs and agents: agent frameworks (LangChain/LangGraph or similar), tool calling, prompt and context engineering, evals, and LLM observability.
- Strong system design: APIs, SDKs, and platforms that many teams consume, evolved without breaking anyone.
- Solid auth knowledge (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, service-to-service, least privilege) and a security-first mindset with sensitive data and credentials.
- Strong ownership: you take ambiguous problems from idea to production and keep them healthy.
- Strong communicator and collaborator, with experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring.
- Heavy daily user of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar).
- MCP: building servers or gateways, OAuth for MCP, and tool governance. (advantage)
- Policy and entitlements: OPA/Rego, SCIM, RBAC/ABAC, or identity governance platforms. (advantage)
- Agent security: sandboxed code execution, agent identity and delegation, human-in-the-loop approvals, and audit trails. (advantage)
- Data platforms: Snowflake, data-access governance (Satori or similar), and Kafka/CDC. (advantage)
- Internal platforms and SDKs: owning release and versioning across many consumers. (advantage)
