Nova is seeking a hands-on physicist to join the CTO/New Technologies group and drive the exploration, validation, and development of emerging metrology technologies. The role combines early-stage technology scouting, concept validation, optical experimentation, and development of novel measurement approaches.

- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Physics or related engineering discipline.
- Strong hands-on optical laboratory experience.
- Experience designing and optimizing experimental systems.
- Strong programming and data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of signal processing and scientific problem solving.
- Ability to independently design and execute experiments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ultrafast optics experience. - Advantage
- Zemax or optical design experience.- Advantage
- CAD/mechanical design experience.- Advantage
- Semiconductor manufacturing familiarity.- Advantage
