- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Proven experience leading an algorithm, applied research, or multidisciplinary R&D team.
- Strong technical background and demonstrated experience in algorithm development, numerical modeling, data analysis, optimization, signal processing, and machine learning.
- Proficiency in Python and scientific computing tools; experience with production-quality software development practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, set priorities, manage dependencies, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect physical understanding, data, and algorithmic methods.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively across disciplines, functions, and global teams.
- Experience in semiconductor metrology, process control, optical systems, or fab environments is an advantage.
- A leadership style that combines technical depth, accountability, and genuine investment in people.
- Ability to move comfortably between strategic thinking, detailed technical discussions, and practical execution.
- Curiosity and creativity in exploring new algorithmic approaches while maintaining a strong focus on product and customer value.
