- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on systems or performance-critical applications
- Strong experience with modern programming languages such as Go, Rust, or TypeScript
- Proven experience with multithreaded and concurrent programming (critical for this role)
- Solid understanding of Docker and containerization
- Experience working with embedded systems or edge computing environments
- Strong understanding of networking and distributed systems fundamentals
- Experience building or working with real-time systems
- Experience with video streaming or video pipeline development (advantage)
- Familiarity with storage systems and data management at the edge (advantage)
- Experience integrating with cloud services (e.g., AWS S3, GCP, MQTT, Kafka) (advantage)
- Exposure to deploying or optimizing AI/ML models on edge devices (advantage)
- Background in security concepts (encryption, secure communication, zero trust architectures) (advantage)
