תקציר
As a Senior Backend Software Engineer on Elsight’s Compute team, you’ll design, build, and own the backend services that power reliable connectivity for unmanned and autonomous systems. This is a hands-on senior role at the intersection of backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, and production operations.

- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with deep expertise in designing and building production-grade backend systems.
- Strong knowledge of backend architecture, distributed systems, API design, databases, data modeling, scalability, and performance.
- Proven end-to-end ownership of services in production, including deployment, observability, debugging, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
- Hands-on experience with cloud and infrastructure technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience supporting systems across cloud and on-prem environments; familiarity with high-availability or multi-cloud architectures is a strong advantage.
- Strong programming skills in a modern backend language. Experience with Go or Rust is highly valued; Python is also relevant, and C/C++ is an advantage.
- Experience building SaaS, platform, security, cyber, SRE, or other mission-critical systems where reliability and operational excellence matter.
- Strong system-level understanding, including Linux, networking, security best practices, IAM, and secrets management.
- A track record of making pragmatic architecture decisions, writing high-quality code, reviewing others’ work, and mentoring engineers.
