Summary

NewPhotonics is a fabless semiconductor engineering innovative optical-first silicon photonic product and technology for AI interconnect in data centers and hyperscaler infrastructure.

Requirements

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
10+ years of experience developing real-time embedded firmware, HAL, BSP, bootloaders, and low-level peripheral drivers.
Strong C/C++ programming background targeting ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers in both bare-metal and RTOS environments.
Deep understanding of RTOS fundamentals, including task scheduling, concurrency, inter-process communication (IPC), mutexes/semaphores, and interrupt handling (ISRs).
Ability to interpret electrical schematics, PCB layout files, and component datasheets.
Extensive experience in hardware-software integration, board bring-up, and production debugging.
Experience with high-speed communication protocols and optical transceivers control. (advantage)
Background in Python scripting for automated testing and lab setup. (advantage)
Familiarity with FPGA integration and embedded Linux environments. (advantage)
