Summary
Visual Layer, now part of Camtek, is building its AI Software center in Tel Aviv. Visual Layer's core engine understands visual data at scale: it finds duplicates, outliers, mislabels, and anomalies across millions of images without manual tagging.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent research experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Computer Vision algorithm development.
- Strong theoretical background in Deep Learning, linear algebra, probability, and optimization.
- Excellent Python and PyTorch skills.
- Experience designing, training, evaluating, and optimizing Deep Learning models.
- Proven ability to take algorithms from research to practical implementation.
- Independent, research-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Anomaly Detection, Image Retrieval, Self-Supervised Learning, or Representation Learning. (advantage)
- Experience in semiconductor, industrial, or medical imaging. (advantage)
- Publications at leading conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, or ICML. (advantage)
- Experience with C++ / CUDA and model optimization. (advantage)
- Experience with Vision-Language Models (VLMs). (advantage)
