- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building and shipping production systems
- Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript (or strong depth in one and real fluency in the other)
- Solid engineering fundamentals — data modeling, API design, testing, and a feel for what makes systems maintainable
- Experience with cloud environments
- Strong problem-solving skills, a real sense of ownership, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup
- A team player with a big-picture perspective who still sweats the critical details

- Experience building data pipelines or working with large-scale data processing (advantage)
- Experience with building AI systems or ML/data science systems (advantage)
