• Active US CPA license
• 5+ years experience working with 0–10 employee service-based SMBs
• Direct advisory experience with business owners (not only filings)
• Strong cash flow management expertise
• Experience identifying early financial distress signals
• Comfortable explaining financial concepts in simple language
• Pattern recognition across many small businesses
• Ability to define thresholds and triggers (e.g., payroll %, AR aging risk, burn rate)
• Comfortable challenging business owners
• Practical, not theoretical
• Calm and trustworthy presence
