Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building and shipping production backend systems
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, especially serverless and event-driven architectures
- Production experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred)
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and release processes
- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems: idempotency, retries, queues, failure handling
- A security-minded approach to IAM, secrets and service-to-service authentication
- Proven track record of owning features end-to-end, from initial design to production .
- Advanced proficiency with AI coding tools in real work
- Experience with hybrid SaaS and on-prem products, or with managing fleets of agents or edge devices (advantage)
- Experience with Datadog, OpenTelemetry or large-scale observability (advantage)
- Background in cybersecurity or infrastructure-heavy products (advantage)
- Experience in a high-growth startup environment (advantage)
