Riskified empowers businesses to unleash ecommerce growth by taking risk off the table. Many of the world’s biggest brands and publicly traded companies selling online rely on Riskified for guaranteed protection against chargebacks, to fight fraud and policy abuse at scale, and to improve customer retention.

- Must: 3+ years of experience managing a team of engineers who run services in production.
- Must: 7+ years of hands-on experience developing high-scale backend distributed systems or microservices.
- Experience leading senior, experienced engineers, and the technical depth to guide architecture and design discussions.
- A strong track record of working with many stakeholders across functions, especially Product and Data Science.
- AI enthusiast: A proven interest in emerging AI tools and a track record of using them to improve workflows or products.
- Experience working in an Agile environment with a full CI/CD and DevOps culture.
- Experience with cloud-native microservices, SaaS environments and event-driven architectures.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or an equivalent degree or experience.
- Background in fraud, risk, e-commerce or payments. (advantage)
- Experience with data-intensive or ML-driven products, such as working alongside Data Science. (advantage)
- Experience working with large enterprise customers. (advantage)
